ZEBRA
Zebra is a double storey thatched house situated close to the swimming pool. Two of the bedrooms are downstairs with the third one being upstairs, two bedrooms are doubles with ensuite shower rooms, the third bedroom has a double bed and a single bed and uses the house bathroom. The living area is open plan with a large feature fireplace with an outside braai fire. A paved, partially covered terrace at the front of the chalet is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast whilst observing the famous African sunrise and the various species of game that visit throughout the day.

​ACCOMMODATION.

At Slievyre main camp, there are four accommodation options namely Kudu, Nyala, Blesbuck and Zebra. Each one is independent and affords our guests privacy and plenty of space to enjoy their surroundings while being conveniently close to serve as a private camp for groups of more than fourteen people.

BLESBUCK
A small original bluestone building ideally suited to a couple or can be a useful addition to any of the other units if required. It comprises of a queen size bed, ensuite shower room and a small kitchenette with hob, grill, fridge, kettle and toaster. There is a small raised wooden deck to enjoy the sunrises, views and animals that may visit.

NYALA
Nyala consists of two stone and thatch bedrooms, a central private bathroom and an open plan thatched lapa which is fully equipped for self catering and also has a large open fire/braai place. One bedroom contains two single beds, the other one contains three single beds. The bedrooms, bathroom and lapa are all connected by a thatch covered walkway.

COTTAGES
Currently the cottages are on longterm rental (please talk to Sarah if you would like more details about them or wish to go on a waiting list if they become available to rent). We have three fully equipped, self catering wooden chalets which are situated in a secluded valley with no near neighbours, approximately 7kms from Slievyre main camp.  Each cottage sleeps up to four guests. and consists of two bedrooms, each bedroom has either a large double bed or two single beds. The bedrooms sit on either end of the cottage and have their own bath/shower room. The living area sits between the bedrooms. There is a fridge/freezer, small electric oven/hob combination plus all the essential self catering items required for a weekend stay.

Each cottage has a raised wooden viewing deck over looking a small stream or dam and an outdoor braai area. The cottages are unfenced and receive regular visits from the animals that live in the surrounding area.

KUDU
Kudu consists of a double storey stone and thatch chalet, a stone and thatch rondavel (Wildebeest) and a large open plan thatched lapa which serves as the kitchen/dining and living area. Within Kudu, downstairs there is a queen sized bed and a single bed, upstairs there are six single beds in an open plan style, the bathroom is downstairs.

The rondavel (Wildebeest)  has a queen size bed with an ensuite shower room.

The lapa is fully equipped for self catering and features a large open fire/braai place.

A wooden viewing deck above the carport allows guests an uninterrupted view of the mountainside that attracts animals to the first rays of the morning sun.
